What to Expect at an Urgent Care Visit

When going to a Banner Urgent Care, it’s important to know that you do not need a reservation. Whileonline check-inis available and recommended where possible, it is not required.

When planning an urgent care visit, make sure you have:

  • Proper ID like a driver’s license
  • Insurance information
  • Payment options

When you first arrive at your urgent care location, make sure you give your name and information to the front desk. This will ensure your place in line to see a provider.

After giving the front desk your name, you’ll be asked to fill out some basic information and pay for your reservation, if necessary, before being seen by a provider. We ask that you wait in our waiting room until your provider is ready to see you. Once your name is called, a clinical team member will take you to an exam room and discuss the reason for your visit.

Please note, Banner Urgent Care is a first come, first serve urgent care, but some patients who have emergency conditions may be prioritized.

After your visit with your provider, we will ensure you understand any aftercare or medications prescribed during your visit. Depending on your visit to Banner Urgent Care, one of our staff members may follow up via phone to ask about your recovery process. You may need to schedule a follow-up visit.
